  教学目标:

  1、能够听、说、读、写本单元的四会单词和词组:was, excited, exciting, a race, a moment ago, take photos, look for

  2、能够听、说、读本单元的三会单词和词组:sports day, running race, watch a running race, a camera, a roll of film, a mobile phone, a cd walkman, a diary, a handkerchief

  3、初步认识过去时态,学习“be”动词is的过去式was,能够感知过去的时间和表达方式,并能区别不同的时间now和a moment ago 。

  4、能够正确理解和运用句型:it isn’t here/ there now. it was here/ there a moment ago.

  5、能够正确理解并朗读课文导言及第一部分对话。

  教学重点:

  1、初步感知过去时态,知道它所表示的意义。

  step 1 free talk

  1、t: hello, children! this is an open lesson. here’re so many teachers. are you excited? yes or no?

  (根据学生真实表现列举若干位,帮助学生初步明白excited的意思)

  t: i’m excited now.

  出示单词excited,组织学生朗读

  2、everyday english: ask and answer

  what day is it today?

  what date is it today?

  when’s your birthday?

  what would you like as a birthday present?

  (1)教师问,学生答。

  (2)提示学生问,老师作答。

  step 2 presentation

  1、t: (出示照相机实物)look! what’s this?

  s: it’s a…

  t: yes, it’s a camera. it is a birthday present from my mother.

  出示单词camera, 组织学生朗读

  t: what can it use?

  s: it can take photos.

  学习四会词组:take photos

  2、t:(教师把相机放在讲台上)

  where’s my camera?

  ss: it’s on/ next to/ beside …

  教师相机板书:where’s my camera?

  it’s on/ next to/ beside…

  t: look at this camera. do you want to take some photos?

  ss: yes.

  t: ok. you should put the film in it first

  出示实物,按顺序学说单词:film, a roll of, a roll of film

  说出类似词组:a _____ of

  t:(将胶卷放在相机内)

  where’s the film now?

  s: it’s in/ in front of…

  (教师继续在板书it’s on/ next to/ beside…之后添加介词in/ in front of…)

  组织学生齐读板书(顺便把相机放在一个不显眼的地方)

  3、t:(学生读完板书,教师故作寻物状)

  where’s my camera?

  ss: ……

  t: oh, it isn’t here now.

  组织学生学习这个句子,注意isn’t和now的发音。

  t: but it was here a moment ago.

  组织学生理解朗读was,it was here

  出示词组,学习a moment ago

  生生操练:it isn’t here now. it was here a moment ago.

  4、t:(指着板书问学生有无问题)

  教师边解释边板书is 过去式 was

  一般过去时表示过去的动作或状态,a moment ago是表示过去的时间,因此要用表示过去时的be动词was。

  t: 引导学生进一步区别理解is 和was

  miss… isn’t here now. she was here a moment ago.

  mr. … isn’t here now. he was here a moment ago.

  学生自由练说句子。

  5、操练句型:结合课本c部分(1—6题)练习

  (1)教师用camera和film作示范练习,同时完成there对here的替换练习。

  (2)看c部分挂图,边学单词,边进行问答练习。

  (以第一幅图为例)

  t: what’s this? do you know?

  s: ……

  t: oh, it’s a mobile phone.

  出示单词a mobile phone, 组织学生朗读。

  多层次练习问答:师问生答,生问师答,男女生问答等

  a: where’s your mobile phone?

  b: it’s beside the lamp.

  a: it isn’t there now.

  b: it was there a moment ago.

  用同样的方法学习单词:a cd walkman, a diary, a handkerchief

  并用同样的方法逐幅图进行句型操练。

  (3)生生任意选择一图操练表演对话。

  step 3 text

  1、t: …, do you like taking photos? (生答略)

  t: su hai likes taking photos, too.

  出示教学挂图,教师边解释背景,边学习单词excited, sports day, a running race, watch a running race, look for

  教师引导学生用提示语言说导言部分情景。

  2、听课文第一部分对话录音,思考:

  where is su hai’s camera? (生解答)

  3、再听录音,学生跟读对话。

  区别理解excited, exciting,说句子:

  the students/ su hai and su yang are excited.

  the running race/ the sports meeting is exciting.

  4、分角色读;齐读;表演。

  step 4 summary

  1、教师边总结,边让学生朗读板书单词和词组。

  2、齐读课题:unit 4 it was there!

  5、正确理解和朗读课文第二部分对话。

  step 1 revision

  1、review the words:出示课本b部分挂图

  t: today su hai and su yang’s cousin, gao yun is visiting them. let’s have a look.

  what’s this?

  s: it’s a roll of film/a mobile phone/a cd walkman/a diary/a handkerchief.

  相机出示单词a video recorder,组织学生朗读。

  齐读六个单词。

  2、ask and answer: 出示课本c部分图片(1—6题)

  a: where’s your…?

  b: it’s on/ next to/ beside/ in/ in front of…

  a: it isn’t there now.

  b: it was there a moment ago.

  先看图说话,再用身边的文具用品进行会话练习。

  step 2 presentation

  1、教师指着实物问学生:

  t: what’s this?

  s: it’s a computer/ a mobile phone/ a pair of glasses…

  t: yes, it’s a pair of glasses.

  出示单词a pair of glasses,组织学生朗读。

  区别比较glasses和a pair of glasses:

  glasses强调使用复数,a pair of glasses强调使用单数。

  书面练习:where the glasses?

  the glasses on the desk.

  where the pair of glasses?

  the pair of glasses on the desk.

  t: where are my glasses?

  s: they are on/ next to/ in front of/ between…

  教师相机板书:where are my glasses?

  they are on/ next to/ in front of/ between…

  2、学生读词组a pair of glasses (随后把放在一个不显眼的地方)

  说出已学词组:a pair of (gloves, shoes, socks, trousers, jeans…)

  教师随机取出一对耳机,教说单词earphones, a pair of earphones

  t: where are my earphones?

  s: they are in / under…

  (教师继续在板书they are on/ next to/ in front of/ between…之后添加介词in/ under…)

  组织学生齐读板书(顺便把眼镜、耳机放在一个不显眼的地方)

  3、t:(学生读完板书,教师故作寻物状)

  oh! where are my glasses?

  ss: they’re ……

  t: oh, they aren’t here/ there now.

  组织学生学说这个句子。

  t: but they were here/ there a moment ago.

  组织学生理解朗读were,they were here/ there

  师生操练:t: where are my glasses?

  s: they are ……

  t: they aren’t here/ there now.

  s: they were here/ there a moment ago.

  请学生说说were的用法,教师板书are过去式 were。

  4、操练句型:结合课本c部分(7—12题)练习

  (1)以earphones为实例,引导学生操练句型。

  t: where are the earphones?

  s: they are ……

  t: they aren’t here/ there now.

  s: they were here/ there a moment ago.

  师生示范后,生问生答;男女生问答;小组问答。

  (2)出示c部分挂图,逐幅图进行问答练习。

  多形式操练,避免让学生感到枯燥乏味,同时又要让学生掌握所学句型。

  (3)两人一组,任意选择一图操练表演对话。

  step 3 text

  1、出示教学挂图,教师引导学生说说导言部分情景:

  教师可用单词或词组作提示,例如:sports day, excited, a running race, look for等,鼓励学生能说多少是多少。

  2、分角色朗读第一部分对话,回答问题:

  where is the camera now?

  where was the camera a moment ago?

  3、出示教学挂图,看图听第二部分对话的录音,思考:

  what are su hai and su yang looking for now?

  where are they now?

  where were they just now?

  再听录音,回答问题,相机学习单词和词组:

  ground, on the ground, pocket, in my pocket, just now(与a moment ago为同义词)

  4、教师范读,生跟读;分角色读;齐读;表演。

  5、学生分组完成本课对话后的判断练习,教师给予反馈和评价。

  step 4 consolidation

  1、game: 猜猜东西在哪儿

  全班闭上眼睛,教师走到学生中间,随意收掉几样东西,然后问学生where is/ are your…?请学生说出物品位置,若不在了,即可以说it isn’t / they aren’t there now.

  it was / they were there a moment ago.

  2、归纳was和were的区别:

  was和were都是过去式,was用于主语是单数的句子,were用于主语是复数的句子。

  3、教师总结全课,学生朗读板书单词和词组。

  step 5 assignment

  1、read the words and text; practice the sentences.

  2、copy the words: were, just now, pocket

  copy the sentences: where is/ are your…?

  it’s / they’re on/ in…

  教学设计:

  step 1 sing a song

  1、free talk: good morning/ afternoon. how are you?

  do you have a diary? where do you put it?

  创设良好的英语氛围,引出本课的歌曲。

  2、sing a song:

  a.听录音,欣赏、感受歌曲的旋律。

  b.朗读歌词,了解歌词大意。

  c.播放录音,学生跟唱,齐唱。

  step 2 revision

  1、教师出示物体小图片,复习所学单词:

  t: what’s this? / what are these?

  s: a roll of film/ a mobile phone/ a cd walkman/ a diary/ a handkerchief/ a video recorder/ earphones/ a pair of glasses.

  预先在黑板上贴上一张房间图,读完单词后,把该物体图片贴于房间图的相应位置上。

  2、问答练习,复习所学句型:

  a.t: where is / are the …?

  s: it’s / they’re on/ in/ beside…

  t: (教师把该物体图片撕下来)

  it isn’t / they aren’t there now.

  s: it was / they were there a moment ago/ just now.

  师生师范问答;请一位学生上前问,其余学生答;分小组问答。

  b. 学生两人一组用文具用品进行会话练习。

  3、出示课文挂图,描述、归纳、复习课文对话中的重点内容:

  t: look! it’s sports day. there is a running race. su hai and su yang want to take some photos. but they can’t find two things. what are they looking for?

  s: the camera and the films.

  t: where is the camera? where was it a moment ago?

  s: it’s in su yang’s bag. it was in su hai’s bag a moment ago.

  t: where are the films? where were they just now?

  s: they are on the ground. they were in su yang’s pocket just now.

  引导学生用自己的话说说课文的主要内容。

  step 3 listen, tick and circle

  1、教师出示挂图,解释图片情景,明确题目要求:

  su hai wants to listen to some music. but she can’t find her cd walkman, earphones and cds. where are they?

  2、看图说话,对cd walkman, earphones, cds所在的位置作预测:例如

  a: …i can’t find my cd walkman? where’s it?

  b: it’s on the desk, i think.

  a: no, it isn’t. it was there a moment ago.

  b: oh, it’s in the bookcase, i think.

  a: …

  学生自由描述,猜测物体所在位置。

  3、听录音,指导学生作简单的笔记。

  4、再听录音,指导学生完成练习:

  根据学生情况,可播放录音一至两次,给学生适当的时间进行判断。对于基础较差的学生,教师可安排学生与其结对,小组共同完成练习。

  5、讲解与分析:边听边理解,边核对答案。

  the cd walkman is on the chair now. it was on the desk this morning.

  the earphones are in the bag. they were next to the video recorder just now.

  the cds are behind the video recorder. they were on the bookcase this morning.

  step 4 play a game

  1、课前准备相关的实物和四个不同颜色的盒子

  (此游戏旨在复习巩固where 引导的特殊疑问句及回答,还有be动词was和were的正确使用)

  2、图读文,教师说明游戏的规则与做法

  a. try to remember where the things are.

  a)close eyes, move the things.

  b)guess: where was/ were the … a moment ago?

  3、教师示范后,学生自由组合进行游戏。

  step 5 listen and repeat

  1、出示图片,看图说话:

  a: what’s this?

  b: it’s a bear.

  a: where is the bear?

  b: it’s next to the pear tree.

  a: it isn’t there now.

  b: it was there a moment ago.

  a: where is it now?

  b: sorry, i don’t know.

  在对话中出示单词:bear, pear, where, there

  2、认读单词:bear, pear, where, there,体会字母组合ear和ere在单词中的读音。

  3、辨音练习:ear, earphone, near, dear, clear, hear, year, hear …

  体会字母组合ear和ere在单词中的另一种读音。

  4、出示句子:the bear was next to the pear tree over there, but where is it now?

  听录音,模仿读;自由读,学生点评;竞赛读,评出优秀。

  step 6 assignment
