  1、联系单词girl,hand学习字母gg, hh 掌握它们在单词中的常用发音,并且能掌握字母正确的大小写书写形式。

  2、学生能够理解red light. stop! green light. go!的含义, 且能够根据这些指令做出相应的反应。

  3、学生能够结合一年级时学习的表示颜色的单词如red, green 等语言知识,将新旧知识融会贯通,运用于实际情景中。

  4、通过crossing the road及warning等活动,培养学生自觉遵守交通规则的意识。

  activity 1 watching the video

  1. the crossroad

  在屏幕上播放一段十字路口车来车往的录像。当录像中的交通灯呈红色时,所有相应的车辆和行人都停止。

  把学生生活中的情景在课堂中呈现,并通过问答吸引学生的注意,让学生充分利用各种感官感知新知,并为新知的导入作铺垫。

  t:what colour is the traffic light?

  教师根据学生的回答, 补充说道:yes, it’s red. it’s a red light.

  相反,当交通灯变绿色时,所有相应的车辆和行人都可通行。教师也可以如此与学生问答。

  2. again

  再放一遍录像,在录像放到交通灯呈红色,所有车辆和行人都停止时,教师让画面停止。

  activity 2 (quick response)

  green light.

  教师出示给学生一个红色圆形的图片,表示red light。

  t:what colour is it?

  t:it’s a red light. 同样,教师出示给学生一个绿色圆形的图片,表示green light.用相同的方法引出it’s a green light.

  接着,把红灯和绿灯分别放在黑板的两侧,让学生根据教师的指令指出相应的灯。

  把红灯和绿灯贴于黑板上,红灯在上,绿灯在下,把红绿灯用粉笔圈起来,加上支撑的柱子,一个交通灯便呈现在学生面前了。教师把绿灯反面朝学生,表示红灯亮了

  用同样方法引出green light. go!

  通过模拟的红灯和绿灯的两个教具,在巩固复习旧知的基础上引出新知,为之后的新旧知识融会运用作好铺垫。

  通过两个教具的组合, 变成一个交通灯,并形象地模拟交通灯的闪烁,激发学生的学习兴趣,并引出新授知识。

  联系单词ice-cream,和跟随老师朗读five, kite, light等单词学习字母ii, 掌握它在单词中的常用发音。接着,联系单词jelly,和跟随老师朗读, jean等单词学习字母jj, 掌握它在单词中的常用发音。

  二、学习目标(objectives)

  1、学生能够理解yellow light. wait!的含义,能够根据这一指令做出相应的反应,并能够结合前一个period所学的两条交通规则,,运用于真实的情景中。

  2、虽然句型look at … 对学生来说并不陌生,但通过本堂课的学习,学生能将前一单元所学习的交通工具名称以及以前学过的颜色等旧知结合该句型熟练表达。

  3、在确保完成基本教学目标的基础上,结合学生的学习能力和语言的实际运用能力对本课内容进行相应的拓展。如traffic light, traffic rules等,有助于学生在实际生活中的运用。

  4、通过制作交通规则宣传标语的活动,让学生牢记交通规则, 培养学生遵纪守法的好习惯。

  教师在屏幕上呈现给学生一条热闹的马路,并提问:what can you see?

  学生可以运用句型:i can see …回答

  教师向学生介绍画面中的交通灯。结合画面告诉学生:t: look, it is a traffic light. look at the light. what colour is it?

  p: it’s yellow.

  t: what should we do?

  we should wait.

  yellow light. wait!

  通过师生间的一问一答,导入新知,并让学生对新知有了视听上的感知。

  activity 2 (introduction)

  1. traffic rules

  教师出示一张交通灯的图片,让学生在各自的小组说说过马路时所要遵守的交通规则。

  接着,教师图片上黄色的交通灯,这时黄灯闪烁着。

  教师可以告诉学生:look at the light. it’s yellow. yellow light. wait!

  通过学生日常生活中所见的交通灯,自然引出yellow light及其相应做出的动作。

  1. get the whole class to stand up. tell the students that when you hold up the word card for “go”, they should run on the spot. when you hold up the card for “stop”, they should stand still.

  ii. while-task procedure:

  1. say: let’s play a game.

  put three picture of traffic lights in three corners of the classroom. each shows a different color. get a pain of students to come to the front to help you demonstrate. tell them to stand facing you in a row. ask the students at the back to close his/her eyes.

  2. explain that when you say “look at the light” and point to the picture of the traffic lights in one of the corners, the students in the front should say: it’s then the students at the back with his/her eyes closed should say “go!” or “stop”“ or “wait” according to the color of the light he/she heard.

  3. play the game with pairs of students when they are familiar with the game, you can ask some more able students to take up your role.

  draw an oval-shaped racetrack on the board. divided it into twenty sections. divide the class into two teams. ask each team to choose a colored magnet. show a word card for this unit to team a. if team a knows the words, move the magnet to the next section. then show another card to team b. if team b can’t read the word, show it to team a. they then have a chance to move their magnet forward another step.
