一、说教材
(一)、教材的地位及作用
本课是新目标英语初三上册第九单元的第一课时,本单元主要是围绕着“inventions”为中心话题,让学生学会用被动语态来谈论身边的发明如电话、电脑、汽车、茶叶、篮球以及对一些当代发明的看法;它是继unit 3之后的再次学习被动语态,unit 3主要学习含有情态动词的被动语态,本单元主要学习一般过去时态的被动语态,让学生根据所学的知识,学会表达由于这些创造和发明对你生活的帮助和对生活质量的提高认识。本课主要通过熟悉我们周围经常使用发明物的历史来开阔眼界,学会谈论发明的历史。
(二)、教学目标
1、知识目标:①学习词汇:invent , calculator
②学习句型:when was the car invented?
2、能力目标:弄清主动语态与被动语态的差异,并通过练习和运用加以巩固。
3、情感目标:在学习中,学生懂得人类的科学发明创造了丰富的物质文明,培养学生的创造发明的能力和愿望。
(三)、教学重点和难点
重点:学习本单元词汇和掌握一般过去时的被动语态的用法。
难点:如何把一般过去时态的主动语态改为被动语态。
(四)、学情分析
由于我校学生多数来自乡村,英语学习起步晚,基础知识薄弱,虽然经过两年多的学习,有了一定的英语基础知识和听说能力,但两级分化较明显,部分学生因为,基础差觉得英语越来越难而失去了学习兴趣,也有些同学因为平时不懂读单词也不用心去记单词,上课听不懂而放弃了学习,但不乏存有小部分好奇心、思维能力强、求知欲旺盛者,如果教师能抓住这部分学生的好奇心,采用形式多样的教学方法来增强学生的兴趣和注意力,寓教于乐,那么他们就会排除主观和客观的种种消极因素,尽量全身心地投入到知识的学习中去。
(五)、教具准备:多媒体,实物,录音机等
二、说教法
《英语课程标准》强调课程从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,使运用学习的过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度,主动思维和大胆实践、提高跨文化意识和形成自主学习能力的过程。
基于上述理论和英语课程标准学生的要求及学生的心理特点和认知发展规律,我主要采用了任务型教学法,多媒体辅助教学、情景教学法和听力训练法。
1、任务型教学法
任务型的教学活动,是让学习者通过运用语言来完成各种各样的交际活动。学习者通过表达、沟通、交涉、解释、询问等各种语言活动来学习和掌握语言。
2、多媒体辅助教学
在新授单词时,通过多媒体的一些动画、图片,幻灯片等进行形象教学,一方面,可以引起学生的注意从而易于记忆单词,另一方面可以活跃教学气氛,节省没必要的板书。
3、情景教学法
语言的学习贵在运用。因此,在学习英语的过程中,不但要让学生懂得一定的形式表达一定的内容,而且要让他们学会在什么情况下使用什么样的形式。在课堂上教师就要尽量为学生创设一定的适合学生交际的语言环境,使学生觉得不仅仅学到了知识而且可以运用知识。
三、说学法
新制定的《英语课程标准》把“培养学生学习英语的兴趣,树立自信心,培养良好的学习习惯和形成有效策略,发展自主学习和合作精神”放在了首位。依据课改的精神,我从以下几个方面对学生进行学法指导:
1、学习方法指导
培养学生的观察力,想象力,记忆力以及思维能力。用生动的课件调动学生的感官进行听说读写的训练。
2、学习积极性的调动
我在教学过程中创造一种开放的、和谐的,积极互动的语言氛围,把课堂变成有声有色的舞台,让学生在乐中学。
3、学习策略的指导
在课堂活动中把学生分成六人小组的学习小组,让他们围绕着课堂任务分工合作,在活动中相互探讨,相互交流,从而获得知识、技能和情感体验,发展他们的能力。
四、说教学程序
step 1、 warming-up
多媒体呈现一组数字,通过复习数字,复习年份的读法,以便学生能说出后边发明物的年份,再由年份设疑:do you know what happened in 1876? do you want to know? 来导入新课。
step 2、presentation
用多媒体展示图片,让学生说英语,然后用实物学习新单词calculator,在图片下显示发明物的时间,接着问:when was it invented? can you say the year? 让学生来猜invent的含义进而学习新词。教师根据图片和时间引出:the telephone was invented in 1876.这是本课重点,学习一般过去时态的被动语态。再次利用图片提问学生,如果我们要询问这些物品是什么时候发明的应该怎么问?引出重点句型:when was it invented?,并帮助学生用it was invented in 1927.来回答.再接下来就是学生两人一组进行对话练习,操练1c.
step 3、groupwork
多媒体展示1a 图片,让学生小组谈论这些物品发明的时间先后顺序,并给它们排序,最后再集体核对答案。引导学生学会用i think the calculator was invented before the computer.来谈论它们的时间先后。
step 4、listening practice
播放录音机,让学生听,再把时间和图片匹配。播放三遍,第一遍初听大意,第二找时间和它相对应的图片,第三遍,核对答案。
step 5、summary
本课小结,布置作业,调查自己家里的发明查资料找出它们的发明时间及用途。

什么是被动语态呢?请先看下面两个例子:
i open the door. 我打开门。
the door is opened by me. 门被我打开。
哦!原来表示某物被某人怎么样的时候,我们可以用被动语态来表示。那么,被动语态是怎么构成的呢?
某物 + be 动词 + 动词的过去分词 + by + 某人
1.把主动态变成被动态的方法是把动词to be变成原来的主动态动词的时态,再加上主动态里动词的过去分词。
主动态: bell invented telephones. 贝尔发明了电话机。
在这个主动态句子中,时态是一般过去时,所以,变成被动态时,首先要把to be 变成它的一般过去时形式,即:was / were。然后加上主动态里的动词的过去分词形式。于是就变成了:
telephones were invented by bell. 电话机被贝尔发明了。
注意进行时态的被动态。这种语态有时似乎难以使用,因为它要求用to be的现在进行时,这种形式在其他方面用得不多。
主动态:they are repairing the bridge.

do you forget to turn off the lights and heateas when you go out of a room? in it will not matter. they will turn themselves off and on again when your return. you will choose the temperature for each room the lighting and the humidity.
